How do I know what size my dog is?
We price by size tier based on weight: Small (0 to 20 lbs), Medium (20 to 40), Large (40 to 60), X-Large (60 to 80) and XX-Large (80+). Your groomer confirms sizing at drop-off, and final pricing also considers coat and the cut you choose.
What’s the difference between a bath and a full groom?
A “Shinetime” Luxury Bath is a hydrobath with ears, nails, blow-out, cologne and a bandana or bows. The “Sunburst” Full Groom adds a full-body haircut with a customized face, ears and tail. In between, the “Sunkissed” Mini Groom adds a face, feet and fanny tidy to the bath.
Do you take walk-ins for nail trims?
Yes! Walk-in nail trims are $15 and welcome during business hours. For everything else we recommend booking online so we can reserve the right time for your pup.
How does the monthly membership work?
For one monthly price you get two “Shinetime” luxury baths per month plus unlimited add-ons, and you can use a bath credit for 20% off a full groom. Poodles, Doodles and double-coated breeds should pick the “Specialty” membership when booking.
What is the 24-hour satisfaction policy?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you have any requests or changes after your appointment, just let us know within 24 hours and we’ll make it right at no extra charge.
Do you groom cats?
Fur Shine specializes in dogs. If you have a grooming question about another pet, give us a call at (727) 861-2534 and we’ll point you in the right direction.
What should I expect on our first visit?
Plan to arrive a few minutes before your appointment, and let us know about your dog’s temperament, sensitivities or any matting so we can plan the gentlest, safest visit. Have a question before you book? Call us, we’re happy to help.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
The easiest way is to manage your appointment in your online booking account, or give us a call during business hours and we’ll take care of it for you.
